Saturday started out cold–16 degrees cold. In between busting the ice out of our guides, and searching for a little sunlight, we were able to put the hurt on some of our local delayed harvest fish.

Deep nymph rigs were the ticket with leggy stuff like girdle bugs producing best. Purple droppers caught their fair share of fish too. We like purple nymphs.

Cold weather gear from Kuhl and Columbia (as well as girdle bugs and purple nymphs) available at the shop.
